Warren Bloomer

Even to his closest friends, Warren Bloomer is a bit of an enigma. By day, he invents things, very expensive, very complicated things that people like you and me wouldn’t really understand. By night, he moonlights as Stormy One, an avant garde experimental electronica musical act who must be heard to be believed. In his spare time (?!?), he plays bass for Clare Bowditch and the Feeding Set. A long-time friend of Marty’s, Warren first came to Clare’s attention in 1999, when Marty introduced him by saying something along the lines of, “Clare, this is Wazza. He’s plays good, real good. He’s joining the band”. . Along with Marty, Clare, John Hedigan, Matty Vehl, Defah Dattner and Andy Crean, Warren did indeed become a central member of Red Raku. He is known both for his gift of invention but also for his ability to remain absolutely calm and focused in any situation; he has the perfect disposition for true folk-rock stardom.
